I didn’t even have to wait long for this amazing scene, they popped it right into the end of episode three. When a gigolo decides to give a cute virgin her first kiss in a stalled elevator and that gigolo is played by Eric Moon, you know you’re going to get a good lesson in smooching. There’s a point where he’s leaning in and she’s all nervously clenching her fists and squeezing her eyes shut and he smirks… that smug little smile just did me in. And then her wide eyes response! “More, please!” I died.

It’s a toxic mess.

Which is, honestly, my preference in romance tropes.

This is a distinctively 2007 drama. Sleazy men and women, lots of realistic economic desperation driven decisions, men behaving badly, women behaving badly, poor judgement and frustratingly wild characters.

[Re-Watching] Another Miss Oh

I had to keep a notebook next to me, so I don’t forget nothing important.

One thing I forgot about this drama... is how much I cried... so sad.

So let’s jump into the re-review :)

I know Hae Young was embarrassed that her fiance broke things off, the day before the wedding, but come on... she could have told her parents the truth. She received so much crap from the mom. I had written down that the mom should have supported her more, instead of hitting her, but she did support her, just in a messed up sort of way along the way.

One thing I did forget, that Park Do Kyeong got visions of Hae Young... how could I forget that? That was the whole plot...

Isadora was my favorite character. I loved her style and no nonsense personality, but when she got pregnant, they turned her into a childish woman, with pigtails... she still could remain a badass woman who loves her child and the father of her baby, without having her be childish.

The moment they first met, will be my favorite, when she stopped and turned to look at him... love that.

I feel bad for the fiance, but he could and should have handled it differently. I feel this drama is based on Pride and Prejudice... it has to be. I understand his need for revenge and Do Kyeong for enduring it, but damn that was messed up.

I have written down on multiple pages... “Oh Hae Young’s bad choice of fashion” lol. The blue eye shadow.... hahaha why?

I do love Park Do Kyeong’s character and personality, but he was such a dick to his brother. I am glad that Hae Young’s friend gave him a chance. 

I feel that Do Kyeong’s mom did so many shitty things, but did not learn from her mistakes or grow up at all... 

The baseball bat scene will forever be the funniest scene in this drama.

Do Kyeong harbored so much resentment for a woman he didn’t love to begin with. The voice note was really mean of his part, but the other Hae Young needed to grow a pair and tell him they shouldn’t get married if he didn’t love her enough, not run away and then show up a year later as if nothing happened. Pitty is never love. She also belittled Oh Hae Young... using her own “beauty” as a weapon that no way could he go out with Hae Young, he must be doing it since he still loves her... blegh... so glad he put a stop to her.

Episode 7 was the most heartbreaking of all.

When her fiance got out of jail and Do Kyeong crashed the car... I was like... how, why? He did a shitty thing to her, but you kind of ruined her life... crash yourself first hahahah

I forgot Yeon Woo Jin had a cameo. He played his character from Marriage Not Dating, Gong Gi Tae, but instead of a surgeon he was a lawyer, they could have created a new name for him though... that was weird.

I remember the outdoor kiss... that was really good, but then everything else happened and I wasn’t such a fan of it all, but thankfully things got resolved. I love how they defined his visions to make it a plausible thing that could happen.

I do still love this drama, even though I cried too much, but it’s not in the top 10 favorite dramas though. I did not like that Netflix did not show the bloopers at the end of the drama :( Now I need those bloopers and will have to go through my hard drive for it... not cool Netflix.

EDIT: After going through my files... it was a 2 episode special showing the bloopers... oops.

I might compile a list of my top 10 dramas. I do feel better and nostalgic... maybe my cure is watching k-dramas and reviewing and forgetting the world... 

Shinhwa's Eric and actress Na Hyemi are set to become parents of two children.

Eric and Na Hyemi got married in 2017. They welcomed their first son in March 2023, six years into their marriage. Now, two years after the birth of their first child, they are preparing for the joyous arrival of their second.

Eric is reportedly focusing on supporting his wife and her prenatal care, showcasing his dedication as a loving husband. As the first member of Shinhwa to become a father, Eric is building a warm and happy family as they await the arrival of their second child.

Through TOP Media, Eric told SPOTV News, "Our second child is due this spring. Both mom and baby are healthy, and we are now enjoying parenting together."
