I have to be honest: I’m not a Christmas person, I’ve never been one, but these lights guys…these lights did something to me, plus the food smell everywhere around the stare miasto? Oh and the guy who was playing Despacito with the saxophone? And the talking deer? Okay stop ramble. Probably this city did something to me, something really good, and that’s one of the reasons I’m loving it. I changed and of course I’m still changing and this process is making me grow and bloom. I’m a late bloomer, ya know 💁🏻‍♀️ Moreover, something really weird is happening here: I started to drink beer (but still not my thing, anche perché altrimenti non mi chiamerebbero Beerbara Wódka), I eat spicy food (not too spicy, non esageriamo), I’m smiling a lot more (e non è perché mi si è congelata la faccia con quell'espressione), I kinda like Christmas (or at least the Christmas market) and I’m happy. H A P P Y. I feel at home more and more every day. A lot of things have changed in my life lately and this experience is teaching me a lot of new things. An example? I know how to make lasagne with potatoes instead of pasta, I discovered that living with other 13 people is not that bad (actually is freaking amazing and I feel so lucky), I’m a forgiving girl because I didn’t kill anyone who said good things about pizza with pineapple yet. I learned how to accept my weirdness and I found some people who are as weird as me and I love them so much. And, of course, I’m also forgetting a lot of old and useless stuff, such as the word river, so il fiume from now on will be “the thing with the water”. And so on… Sorry, I don’t know why I’m saying all this, I just wanted to say that these lights are amazing and then I lost my train of thoughts… Thanks #Wrocław, thanks #Erasmus program. You saved my life twice. Oh, I have one last question for you Poland: could you please decide what to do with the weather? You’ve been bipolar, now pls make up your mind.
