When I find this post through Google, it cuts off your addition, so that the written Sumerian for “suh” isn’t visible, would you mind posting that?

Further question, the link from op to the Pennsylvania Sumerian dictionary is dead and it seems locked now when I do a normal google search, know of any alternative?

Hi there! (Post being referred to is here.) It looks like the original image, which was hosted by the ePSD version 1, has disappeared when they did a server/url migration. Since then, they've released the ePSD2, which I recommend using instead as it has in-line cuneiform as opposed to images only. (The original ePSD is still online here.)

The in-line for dih is 𒉏, and suh is 𒄗.

Hi! I assume you mean from this post or a similar one? I can’t give you permission for that, because the images generally come from the ePSD. I can’t find info on the ePSD’s copyright status — trust me I’ve looked — so I’ve been using their images as fair use for education, as I make no money off of their use.

I’d suggest you contact someone at the ePSD staff (there’s a link at the bottom of this page, last updated 2006 though so good luck) before making any money off the images. You could also draw your own version and use that instead — the symbols themselves can’t be under copyright, being thousands of years old, but their specific renderings by the ePSD might be.
