Death’s words fading to a mindless mist in an endless sea. Foaming to the surface. Desire no longer willing to listen. Thoughts spiraling to the one in the distance. 

Hidden between greenery. Wild flowers in the garden. Desire curling up a smile, moving a hand on the heart. The thumping vibrant against the palm. Bubbling with desires. Desire’s tongue clicked, sending a final statement to Death. 

Death blinked her eyes, surprised at her siblings shushing. Desire placed a hand against the pillar, setting foot into the grass. Dismissing Death with a simple gesture.

Needing privacy. Death rolled with her eyes, but respected Desire’s wishes. Bowing her head a bit, she stepped back. Disappearing from the realm. 

Each step was closer to the edge of paradise. Remaining as quiet as ever to surprise the one hidden between a forest of flowers.

The light. The night. A world brought to life. Endless warmth inside snuggling in the cosy corners of the heart. Only one that could set the heart on fire. 

Humming softly, you were de-weeding the flower batches. Laying them aside, already having collected a small pile. Being your most favorite place in all the realm.

Relatively new. Specially made for you. To provide you with a place of comfort. Solitude and peace. Away from the business. 

Your eyes widened when hands came sliding down your chest. Over the shoulders, lowering to your hips. A deep satisfying hum in your ear.

“My dearest.” Desire purred. Leaving a tender kiss just behind your ear. Smiling, you looked up. Red painted lips making their way down to kiss yours. 

Humming delightfully against your lips. Lips parting ways. You moved your head back. Feeling Desire coming to sit close to you. “Has Death parted yet?” You asked, ruffling your hands between the flowers to search for weeds.

“Send her away.” Desire answered. Surprised, you turned around. Desire’s eyes rolled. “I had more important matters to attend to.” 

“Oh. Such as?” Replying curious. Desire’s hands wrapped around you. Pulling you back against the chest. Kissing your shoulder a few times. Adoring that soft laughter from yours.

“You.” Desire spoke, assisting you down onto the lap. Settling to find cosiness. Desire’s fingers brushing through your hair.  “When it comes to you, nothing is more important, my dearest.” Leaning down to whisper. 

Humming softly with a smile, you took Desire’s hand. Teasing her fingers and hand with yours. “You flatter me, my love.” You responded with flushed cheeks. Eyes locking with those shimmering golden ones.

Lips parting in anticipation. Desire responding to your subtle hints. Raising your hand, your upper body went along. Sucking in a breath. Lips crashing hard against one another. Following with passion. Desire.
