epilepticon 2026?
I'm already thinking about epilepticon 2026. (that IS unreasonable, I understand.) I'm probably gonna have the same job next year (teaching) and November is early enough that I'm gonna be tired.
If I'm running it, I'm queueueueueing up prompts in August and letting it roll in November, yall. That's what happens when you let someone with an understanding of her own energy levels run a festival.

Epilepticon 2025 Day One: Prophecy
I've not had the best track record with prophecies (probably because I don't want to get beaned in the head by Apollo's mighty dodgeball) but here's my prophecies of the day:
The Blue Jays will win the World Series.
We will have an early winter and a late spring.
The new Taylor Swift album will get a lot of Grammy nominations but will only win for best music video.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will be renewed for two more seasons after its 18th season but Danny Devito will not be in the last season (not for health reasons, though. He'll just want to retire.).
The next Mega Millions winner will be someone from Tennessee.
Sinners will win Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars next year.
So random, but I was looking back at an old Epilepticon post (you will be missed 🫡) and I was just thinking about my possible sci Fi super power tied into my Epilepsy. Here me out it's not just your standard lightning/electric Epilepsy powers (don't get me wrong those can be super cool). Your powers are brain based super powers and are influenced by your type of seizures. You have nocturnal seizures only the guess what? Any power you have is amplified by the moon. Absent seizures? You stare so hard that you can see into the very soul of any being. And through walls if you feel like it. Grand mals? Any explosive type of power you want. The vibe goes with your seizures, and of course if you have multiple types of seizures you have multiple powers like Jack-Jack.

Yall, October is just tiring, between the beginning of the school year and the high holy days and just, the pall of winter falling over us. I haven't been on to talk about Epilepticon 2024, but I'm out here thriving my butt off. Hope you're well.
