Not Bruce's sons. But Dick's brothers.
Everyone for years missed their biological parents, the ones they had loved, and Bruce had stepped aside, respecting their pain.
Bruce had always been there for them, loved them, cared for them.
But after years of heartbreak, insults, and fights, after another discussion, Dick complained that Bruce never really wanted to be a parent.
At that point, Bruce snapped. He wanted it. He wanted it with all his heart. But he didn't do it out of respect for what they wanted.
And now they're complaining? They?
Dick and the others could have had him. No, the worst part is that they could still earn Bruce. But when will he be good enough for them?
Maybe he never will be. He was just a man, and couldn't handle the pain anymore.
