This Anglican church, known as St. George's, is the second St. George's Anglican Church built in Gore's Landing. It was built in 1908 in a modified Gothic design by architect J. A. Ellis. Stones were gathered from nearby fields to keep the cost of construction down. The church was built to replace another structure that had been there since the late 1840s and had become structurally unsound by the late 19th century. The church and associated cemetery are located in a picturesque location at the top of a hill overlooking Rice Lake and is well worth a visit.
