I remember when I did some custom designs of the Eon duo, so I decided to try my hand at drawing them again.
If a facial expression could kill I think mega latias would have doomed us all

Way back at the end of 2025, I was thinking about how to dec out my Switch 2. My original Switch had every sticker known to man covering it, and I WAS thinking of doing just that again, but around the same time, someone shared a pic of a cool protective case on the Splatoon Reddit. That prompted me to go to the case website to check out the rest of their wares, which is where I noticed they had a CUSTOM case option, and I knew immediately that's what I wanted to do.
As for what I would put on that case, I wasn't sure yet. But eventually, I stumbled into @the-upper-shelf's wonderful Lati designs, and with A) Latios being my second all-time favorite Mon, and B) me loving all things wing and birb related, I was able to put two and two together and patiently waited for my shot at one of their commission slots :3
They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and thank you again so much for letting me use your designs to make this dream come true!

Finished drawing some reinterpreted designs for Latias and Latios in the Draco Scaled AU!
Latias is partially based on parrots/parakeets and pigeons while Latios is based partially on hawks, falcons, and those raptorial birds, hence why it has tomial teeth!
