I still remember my first ever memory.
Lights; infinite, dazzling. Sparking and scattering through the dark nothingness. They came closer, closer; I raised my arms to protect myself...
When nothing seems to happen, I slowly lower my arms again. Look down. I'm floating in infinite darkness; the light is funneling before me, from a wide swath of millions of glittering lights to a narrow point, centered in the center of my chest.
...
I was absorbing it.
Slowly, the glowing dust takes shape. A rainbow of flickering, small colors settles into a crystalline-shelled, inverted heart. Infinity shines underneath its glass-like surface, like stars swallowed by a singularity.
Just when the last of the dust disappears into my new Soul, my vision goes white. I shut my eyes against the sudden light, but it doesn't help. For a few seconds or perhaps infinity this continues, until my vision finally clears.
...
I'm kneeling in a meadow. It's seemingly endless, with wildflowers in every imaginable color covering the ground all the way to the hills, vanishing into the horizon. The sky is dark with stars, and yet the ground is colored as if cast in warm daylight.
Something told me that this was my home; no longer would I drift through the endless Void.
The Multiverse was born, and with it so was I.
