The Coca-Cola Companyis the world's largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with more than 500 sparkling and still brand. Led by Coca-Cola, the world's most valuable brand, Company's portofolio features 15 billion dollars brands. Globally, Coca-Cola Company are the No. 1 provider of sparkling beverages, ready-to-drink coffees, and juices and juice drinks.
Its marketing communication is purposeful and connects with its audience in a way that makes it stand out from its competitor, Coca-Cola is always looking for new ways to promote its parennial theme of happiness and joy.
In Singapore, agency Ogilvy & Mather unveiled a Coca-Cola vending machine that dispensed free cans when given a tight hug. The Machine was placed on the campus of the National University of Singapore, quickly attracting lines of students keen to give the Coca-Cola machine a hug. Leonardo O'Grady, ASEAN IMC directory of the Coca-Cola Company explains: “Hapiness is contagious, The Coca-Cola Hug Machine is a simple idea to spread happiness. Its strategy is to deliver doses of happiness in an unexpected, innovative way to engage not only the people present, but audience at large.”
In Argentinalast August to celebrate International Friendship Day. The machine has been reported to be about 12 feet tall and encourages people to ask a friend for a boost in order to get the two for one deal.
In Istanbullast Valentine's day, Coca-Cola installed a very special vending machine inside one of the most crowded shopping malls.
This special Coca-Cola machine was remotely operated and would only dispense drinks if couples proved their love (such as sneaking a kiss). A brilliant marketing campaign because it allowed them to capture video of couples expressing their love to one another.
Normal vending machine but with some modification to it.
Increse brand awareness of coca-cola and stand out from its competitors.

All of Umpqua Bank’s neighborhood stores are fully equipped to offer personal banking, mortgage lending, small business banking and commercial lending.
Umpqua neightborhood stores were design to feel like neighborhood hubs, so every inch is maximized to provide personalized, community-focused experiences.
Similar to cafés and other gathering places, Umpqua’s neighborhood stores provide people with an engaging space to browse local merchandise, shop online, enjoy a cup of coffee and learn about community events and resources — in addition to banking.”
The neighborhood store concept grew from Umpqua's belief that it's possible to create community and foster connections between businesses, organizations and consumers by offering a thoughtful combination of products, services, information and resources. The stores are an extension of Umpqua'scommitment to community banking.
The campaign is aimed at children in the 96 cities in Oregon, Washington and California where Umpqua operates 144 branches. Lani Hayward, executive vice president of creative strategies for Umpqua, said 70 percent of the bank’s deposits and loans came from small and medium-size businesses.
Jim Haven, the co-creative director at Creature, an agency based in Seattle that developed the campaign, said the “lemonaire” concept came about because the “original small business is the lemonade stand.”

a booklet called “How to Become a Lemonaire: A Guide to Starting Your First Small Business,” with tips on how to share, save and spend money responsibly;
a yellow, plastic tablecloth; a sign for “(fill in the name’s) lemonade stand”;
cups and napkins; and a $10 bill for start-up capital.
