Sacrifice

Honestly it's so interesting seeing the finished result get posted becuz the colors look way less saturated on my drawin device compared to when I check it on my phone.

Is he sitting? Or waiting. Or just thinking? Or looking at someone or smthn?

I hope my art makes ppl think for a bit hehe

A more abstract piece than my usual style but I just love experimenting with everything. This was a lotta fun to draw :>

And he doesn't know any of this yet. Not the details to do with her, anyway. And he's- trying to be good. Acting as a- not necessarily a knight, but a warrior sworn to a Princess. Out of love. He's betraying a cause he was sworn to, out of love. Like her.

And then their efforts to save him fail, to save Libestal, fail. And he's presumeably- either left to be imprisoned and then experience ch1 from his part of the time loop before heading to ch3, or goes on directly to ch3 at the same time as the Shining Stars and hasn't yet experienced ch1, I'm not entirely clear which.

And they're still fighting him. And the Curse, now. Presumeably also T H E O R I G I N in ch4, and I have more to say about that later.

But in ch2 she has to look a warrior in the eye as a peer she's trying to save, and think-

-"You would have been my king."

And in ch3 they're hunting a warrior who loved a princess enough to defy his god. And who, suffused in hatred, anger, resentment, whatever- became something... other. Something Fia's an enemy to- even if, actually, not sure he's enemy to Fia.

I dunno if LBF and the prisoner-king-watcher were meant to have this weird mirror thing going on. But it's not a far stretch to say they kinda do.

... makes me wonder. In ch4, will her journey lead her to a Scarlet Queen whose story bookends the whole thing?

What will she and her own princess be to each other, when it's all over?

Kiwawa scheduled up episode 3 of HoloEN Rewind! 

This will be a Hololive ENReco special.  She took from the usual TwitterX hashtag, as well as a few posts out to the JP fans via the Holoplus app. She also made a shoutout on TwitterX to the ENReco Archive Site and thanked the folks involved there.

A quick recap! HoloEN Rewind is a bilingual program focused mainly on Japanese language side. She's aiming to explain, express, help JP side understand EN branch shenanigans and subcontext. This isn't a clip show, nor is it "big news" show- so not talking about new releases, etc generally. But will be explaining bits and bobs about EN so JP side can follow along or follow up and gain more access to the EN talents. So, think daily slice of life idioscyracies that we love about EN, more than events or funny clips. The goal is "current" trends, as opposed to older stuff. Yakno so everyone can enjoy the new funny.
