❛ I savor bitterness - it is born of experience. It is the privilege of one who has truly lived. ❜
Deathless Sentence Starters / @personsuited / Still Accepting
An unsatisfied twist of the lips ensues. Daddy, mother, Hannah, and plenty of others pushed the envelope as far as Starling’s tolerance for bitterness goes. ( Not their actions so much as the events that influenced their lives. )
She’s not sure what makes bitterness worthy of attainment. Besides, she has enough of it, and it’s hard to swallow. She wonders what sort of experiences engendered the same bitterness that fills Dr. Lecter’s chest, too.Â
    “Consider myself fully lived, then.”
I think you should write a Clarice fic!

10. What do you love about your muse? and 11. What do you hate about your muse?
Answered here!Â
17. Why do you think you connect to your muse?
We both have very strong opinions, and we are instinctively compassionate. The lamb thing... And the horse thing... I don’t accept the suffering of animals, and on that front, Clarice and I are very similar. Like Clarice, I also like intelligent men ( and women ) who respect me LMAO.Â

9. Do you enjoy putting your muse through angst? What do you think would break their heart the most?
Yes! When there’s growth at the end-- or, a light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. I don’t want to write Clarice in angsty situations if it’s for her downfall or something... I think she deserves the opportunity to move on from said angst and grow as a character. As for what would break her heart, it would indubitably be the death of someone truly dear to her-- especially if it were accidentally by her own doing, or by her unwittingly putting them in danger. She’s witnessed enough death in her life; she cannot afford to see another person dear to her die. I mean, look at how she risked her entire FBI career when she went to Muskrat Farm to save Hannibal, and the boy didn’t even mean that much to her at the time. She just wanted to prevent further suffering than what he was set to endure. What a kind heart, you know? What a woman.Â
10. What do you love about your muse?
I love her self-discipline. I love it so much.Â
11. What do you hate about your muse?
The way she holds on to the past. ( Up to the end of Hannibal, of course. ) It makes me so sad because she’s always trying to impress her dad, who’s dead and can’t really help her...Â

1. What makes you the most emotional about your muse?

1. What makes you the most emotional about your muse?
There are a lot of things that make me emotional re: Clarice Starling, but I think the thing that I can think of first is the fact that she’s rarely taken seriously by the men around her. Yo honestly she has so much self-control not to open up a can of whip-ass on them, as I’d like to do, and it makes me feel emotional thinking of how she has to prove herself allllll the fucking time.Â
Downpour!
Send me  “DOWNPOUR”  for my muse to show up on your muse’s doorstep during a rainstorm, drenched and shaking from the cold. / @nightmareunderthepillow
Clarice Starling feels a sense of loss as she drives to Will’s house. Her badge is gone, her guns are gone, and her boot knife is gone, too. She has John Brigham’s badge and guns in her closet, but she has no need for those yet.Â
The rain tries to do a number on her Mustang, but she manages to drive through the off-roads fairly decently. It’s when she gets out of her car that she really feels the impact of the weather, but one of Will’s dogs that runs up to her clears away some of her agitation. She bends down for a moment and lets it lick her cheek, unable to resist an amused grin when it jumps onto her knees and leaves mud all over her clothes.Â
    She doesn’t give a shit.Â
Within a few moments, she’s on her feet again and walking alongside the drenched dog to Will’s front door. While she waits after knocking, she tries to remember how many dogs Will said he has. Seven...?Â
âť› Nothing ever truly dies. âťś ~Hannibal
Deathless Sentence Prompts / @jestersmuses
“Nothing, indeed,” Clarice responds, finishing the last bite of her dessert.Â
In their home, the servants are denied access to the dining area after the first course of their nightly meals. This way, they may finish their evenings in whichever way they’d please.Â
It appears that tonight they retreat to the past, never an indecorous subject within the household. They both hold on to those who once died: a night watchman and a little girl who loved the color purple. Still, these figures are seen as what they truly are: figments of once-hopeful imaginations... Never truly gone, they live on in the respective mind palaces — sharing some walls — of Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling. The former, no longer looking to place Mischa within the bounds of Clarice Starling; the latter, no longer looking to her father for her ideas of justice and injustice.Â
