The quirk in itself isn't that difficult to grasp. "Mind Palace" is a quirk that creates a headspace in one individual upon prolonged contact. This headspace will be infinite and based upon everything that individual is—their memories, fears, beliefs, etc—and notably, is only accessible in sleep.
Shinsou smiles, in that confident way he does when he hears a challenge. Aizawa smiles back, in that lazy way he does when he gets the feeling a mission is basically over.
