HIIIIIII!!! Hi Hi Hi! \(^^)/
I wanted to pass by and say that I absolutely freaking ADORE your writing. I found your blog not long ago, and I've been binging your stories. And I've got to say, they are always such a delight and a heartthrob to read!
The fluff, the romance, the love! And as an asexual monster lover, it's such a palette cleanser to read your works, even if they do have some spice <3
Sooo, I also came by to ask if we could get a description of Opal! I love them smmm I just want to draw them and their fluffy self
Anyways, you're such a good writer, and your stories make me giggle and kick my feet while I roll in bed like a lovesick girl. Thank you sm for posting what you write ヽ(o´3`o)ノ
ACES RISE UP- thank you SO much for the comment mwua. Opal is one of my favorites to write, he's a gem to me and if I could I'd be an Opal x Reader blog. As an asexual person myself I try to be a more fluff/suggestive blog instead of the more sought out NSFW. It doesn't bother me but cmon guys where's the softness in monsters.
So who's Opal? He's a tall, gentle moth prince of a smaller kingdom, with a soft, elegant presence rather than the typical more imposing one. He's got pale, pearl-toned skin with dark gradient starting at the tips of his fingers to the end of his elbows, same for his tippy toes to his knees. And LOVELY fine silvery fur across his shoulders and chest. I love my puff balls. His large moth wings resemble moonstone—cream, silver, and faint lavender—with feathery edges that either fluff or tremble depending on his emotions.
He's got expressive, opalescent eyes, long lashes (love men with features I wanna rip off and keep for myself), and a sensitive velvety antennae that betray his feelings easily. His long light, ash-colored hair falls in soft, untidy waves to the maids dismay. If you did his hair tho he'd fight the winds to keep it all day as you left it. The moth people normally dress in more flowy garments and Opal is no exception, though he often forgets his own royal composure when distracted or in love.
I argue that what defines him most though is his tenderness, he feels deeply, loves openly, and shows his emotions through small, unconscious gestures. When he looks at his beloved, everything about him softens, as if the world fades away except for them.
