Hello tumblr, my old friend...

As the 90's fashion trends round the corner and remind me, unbidden, of my age, I became nostalgic for some other high school trends. So here I am, once again.

I'm in the process of planning my (queer) wedding! Last time I was active on tumblr, I was very closeted in real life and tossing rocks and my glass closet here online.

Thought I'd make a little post here about some things I'm using in our wedding in case anyone is looking for inspiration. I'll include links for anyone interested in buying them.

We are going to be using this custom neon sign to write out one of our favorite song lyrics (vance joy- bonus points if anyone can guess what song).

I think we are going to go with these floating candles as centerpieces. They are WAY cheaper than flowers, with less set up effort. Plus I just like the soft lighting they will provide for the *ambiance*

Okay this last one is a little more pricey and I feel wild for even doing this, but we wanted a little photo opp/reception seating mix. So I found this absolute STEAL of a couch for $253 on amazon. (Don't come for me, I know I'm extra). I think we might use our neon sign behind it for the photo op during the reception!

I’m engaged!!

Everyone meet Mav, my silly little skunkly vampire husband! He’s the best cook I’ve ever met, the most patient man in the universe, and the Teddy Bear of All Time. I call him a vampire because he’s pale as sin and sleeps 30 hours a day. He’s honestly the light of my life and my biggest supporter. Half the ocs I draw are his. In the future I’ll probably tag them with #mavsocs or something so that you can see all his cute little blorbos.

I’m so excited to marry this man you have no idea. Look at the fucking ring he got me.
