After hearing your personal alarm sound to wake you up for the day ahead, what motivates you to head into work?
The most common motivator is money and is one of the main reasons why we go to work each day. For some, the lure of money isn’t enough for them to want to get up every day for the rest of their working lives.
At the beginning of your employment journey, your motivator may have changed from seeking independence from family or carers or to have ‘a job’ a sense of purpose and belonging.
Now, further into your journey, you may be driven by money or status. Whatever it maybe, you need to find out what your motivator is and understand that it change over the course of your career.
