God. Dammit.

Here she was, gracious enough to invite Mafuyu over for dinner with her family again, and what comes out of it? Mafuyu, making a damn fool of her, right in front of her brother? Giving him more fuel to use against her even? The last thing she needed was for her brother to find a partner in crime when it came to harassing her!

Opening the door into her room, she stomps in, rubbing her face and grunting in exasperation. Taking a few steps further in, she barely misses the entrance of the object of her frustrations. Mafuyu follows her in, turning to politely shut the door behind her before glancing over at Ena.

“You seem upset.”

“Of course I am! Oh my god.”

“Should I not have spoken to your brother?”

“I don’t care about that, but you can at least stop yourself from saying stupid things about me in front of him!”

“I wasn’t lying, though.”

“You could try!”

“No, I don’t think I could.”

The most...interesting noise of frustration seethes through clenched teeth as Ena raises her hands in the air and they hang between her and Mafuyu, as if she wanted to grab the girl, but stopped herself short.

“God, why are you so annoying?”

Mafuyu glanced to the side. “You don’t seem to hate it enough to actually get me to stop.”

“Aagh!” Her fingers dig at her head for a moment before she grabs at Mafuyu’s shoulders, shoving the girl back firmly against the door. Her hand balls up the front of Mafuyu’s shirt and grips tightly, pushing the girl as Ena stepped forward and pushed her lips hard against Mafuyu’s.

Ah. She didn’t have a rebuttal, did she? This is what she did when she didn’t have an argument. Mafuyu’s hands moved to Ena’s sides and she kissed back, more calmly than Ena did at the moment. In fact, Ena’s immediate response was a sharp bite to Mafuyu’s bottom lip, though it doesn’t stop either of them at all.

“Mn—ugh.” Pulling away, Ena released Mafuyu and crossed her arms, almost pouting at her. “It’s only fair we get to talk about some of the finer points of Akito’s embarrassing habits, now, you know.”

Mafuyu tilted her head, then seemed to nod thoughtfully.
