When I asked for doodle requests @killersansreal asked for, well, guess xD So here <3 I couldn't resist to draw Killer with Ink though, because I love them

I think they really would get each other. That feeling of emptiness, the uncertainty regarding their emotions and how "real" they are, the species dysphoria (it's mainly a headcanon for me about Ink, but I do feel like he likely thinks of himself as an impostor in many regards. And, well, while he looks like a monster, monsters take great pride in their souls. It's repeated many times throughout Undertale how the very core of monsters is hope, which is held in the culmination of their being. Ink doesn't have that and he'd likely be painfully aware of that), their knowledge of the Players/Creators, the fact that they see everyone as not really real and somehow below them...

Genuinely, I think they'd be able to get each other on a level few others would be able to.

The last one made me think of how I, and a few others, share a HC that killer tends to be more fashion forward than most sanses. that he even starts exploring different outfits and fashion in his good ending with color. I thought it’d be a wonderful idea if it was ink who helped inspire and encourage killer towards that idea.

even if killer decides its ultimately not safe to risk while still held captive by nightmare, i thought itd be rather sweet if his interactions with ink during the darkest periods of killer’s life actually inspires him towards things like self expression and creation—a sense of hope for someone like killer, who has spent his life believing he existed to destroy and be destroyed. and ink seems very good at inspiring others, just by being themself.

my first thought about ink’s tongue, though, created a very vivid scene to me. where like its one of killer’s rare off days, hes exhausted. ink’s sitting nearby, info dumping about an au—killer’s having a hard time keeping track of which one it is today, ink’s words sound like they’re coming from underwater—when a sudden flash of color (hehe) catches his attention.

This is the anon from forever ago that asked for advice on two Killers and Color (link - a little refresher just incase)

But with two Killers, I was wondering if you might have any name suggestions? Killer is iconic, but I feel that describing a scene they're both in would be confusing to the readers. It would be like: "Killer patted the back of Color as he flopped down beside him on the couch. While Killer was busy making coffee in the kitchen." Who is who??!?!

It would become confusing on which Killer, is well, which. I could use the physical traits of describing - since recently freed Killer is missing an entire arm, but that'd be a doozy.

And I like the idea of a name change. Like stepping back from the prejudice the name holds. He's a changed skeleton, he doesn't wanna be viewed as that tool that wrecked havoc for Nightmare anymore. Killer is his own skeleton now, with his own thoughts, motivations, and worldview. But I can also see him keeping the name because he doesn't believe he deserves to be anything more.

Just looking for some advice if you're still interested in Killer  🙏 I can provide more information for either Killers if you need more

An easy way to name them would probably to be to shorten the name—either between them both, or only for one of them. Like, you can have Killer and Ki. Or Kil and Ki.

Depending on their motivations on why they’re with Color, why and how they left Nightmare, how long they’ve been away from him—perhaps one of them is able to believe they deserve to have a different name, but the other hasn’t gotten there yet.

So one could still be Killer, the other could have one of the shorten names mentioned above of course—but they could also have a completely different name.

Or, depending on how you want to frame it—one of them still goes by Killer, the other one goes by something different in public to avoid confusion, but perhaps in private—alone with those they feel will not wrestle their name from them—that one is slowly starting to go by, respond to, and use Sans again.

If you don’t want weapons or tools name, you can maybe lean on flower names? Given the original killer’s thing with golden flowers.

You could also give them number names if you want, given Chara was their partner in crime and Chara has their thing about liking the number nine—though some may find that dehumanizing of a sort, perhaps one or both of the Killers prefer it because it’s like reclaiming power and agency back. The numbers could also potentially be used to identify them from other Killers out in the multiverse.

You could also use colors, since Color is there. Perhaps this is something Ink’s artist eye is willing to—perhaps when he makes them new outfits, there’s a consistent color for them to separate them from eachother and other Killers, to also individualize them.

If they both want to still go by Killer at any point in the story, or if they both just instinctively respond to it still (they’ve been Killer for more than they’ve been Sans, understandable they’d still respond even if it’s not their name anymore) they can have color coded outfits or features to show who is who in the text, even if they didn’t base their names on the color.

Alternatively, perhaps one of them decides to get some body modifications—like a tattoo or whatever a skeleton Monster body can have, perhaps it’s even a flower or one in a specific color. This could be something that Killer is proud of, did so willingly—and the tat is out in the open.

I think I talked about this idea a bit in past asks (also made some hc posts about them before), but I think these two would have an understanding. Regardless of if they care to consider themselves friends or not, or if they’re attached or have an emotional connection, I do think they’d have an understanding.

I also find it interesting how ink would not consider killer to be “real” the same way they are, whereas killer wouldn’t consider either of them to really be “real.”

I don’t think ink would attempt to save or rescue killer from nightmare, and killer would never ask for ink’s help, but I like to imagine that ink is to killer what a stray cat wandering up to and spending time near a worker on their lunch break is.

Only ships I really hate are like, incest, pedo or zoophilia, and Killermare and Bad Sans Poly.

I hate Killermare because it is trafficker/kidnapper/abuser x victim/captive and that is just..baked so completely in their narratives I find it ridiculous to ignore it.

I hate the narrative that Nightmare ever genuinely saved Killer, he didn’t—Color was the one putting in hard work and tears trying to protect, understand, befriend, and earn Killer’s trust. He was the one being threatened with death and stabbed and attacked for trying to help like he was asked to— by Killer himself—to help. He’s the one constantly risking his life and safety and well being for Killer’s freedom.

I hate how certain shippers treat this ship, how they treat Killer, and how they definitely treat Color—like Color’s somehow the bad guy because they want to pretend that Nightmare is somehow good for Killer’s safety or that Killer would ever be happy with him. Or as if Color only has selfish intentions and motives for Killer. Even more so when they pretend it’s one sided and Killer doesn’t grow to feel the same eventually—even when they’re extremely rough and certainly not friends in the beginning.

As if Killer wasn’t the one asking Color to save him. As if Killer didn’t say he kinda likes Color, and Nightmare had to tell him to literally shut up—as if Color isn’t the only one besides Toriel Killer has admitted to liking before, compared to when he said he doesn’t like anyone when asked. As if Color wasn’t the only one Stage 1 Killer ever felt comfortable asking, pleading with, for help—trusting him enough to admit he wants to be saved.

As for ships i enjoy, there’s Colorkiller obviously—but I also enjoy them as a friendship, or queer platonic, or them in general. Lifeafterdeath most definitely. Reapertale Chara x Core!Frisk (I don’t know. if they have a ship name) is wonderful.

Epic Sanses poly, Delta x Color, Epic x Color, Ccino x Color, just other Color ships in general i like. Chromatic Crew poly could be interesting.

But honestly what I really want is more of Killer in platonic relationships.

Color is special to him and this is just an undeniable fact, and Killer doesn’t strike me as the type to be very interested in friendship outside of what he managed to build with Color—but i think he should have more social connections, even if they aren’t what he has with Color because he does not trust most people at all.

I’d love to see more of Ink and Killer. Not really as a ship, but as pals—I feel they’d understand each other. Ccino and Killer and Lust and Killer and Color too. I’d like to see Ink and Color content as well, and Color and Dream.

I feel I’d be interested in seeing more Killer and Horror content, but there’s barely any outside of Bad Sans Poly or MTT Poly—and even in those ships there’s hardly anything.

I’ve found myself turned away from most Killer and Murder dynamics because, similar to Kross and killermare, these two always have to have some sort of “sexual tension” or something and it’s actually just beating eachother half to death or being lovey dovey and so in love. (Or when Killer is portrayed as a desperate whore for dust’s attention and begging him to love him or something.)
