Keith: Pidge, all I did was walk out of the shower in a towel

Keith: Besides *you* stole my clothes!

Keith: *just came back from the quantum abyss, two years older, a half-foot taller, and probably about 20lbs more muscle than the last time she saw him*

Pidge: Cause you're taking up more space in my heart.

Keith: Oh, steaks should be just about done. Be right back *kisses Pidge on top of her head*

Matt/Romelle: *wait for the door to close for Keith to be out of earshot*

Romelle: Pidge, we have a question... one you may not like, but you need to answer honestly.

Pidge: ? *cocks her head to the side*

Matt: Is Keith hurting you?

Pidge: W-what? No! Why would you ask that?!

Matt: I'm not blind and stupid Katie, you're wearing long-sleeves when it's 100 degrees outside, and I saw the red marks on your wrist from the baggy sleeves of the labcoat.

Romelle: Please, tell us the truth, Pidge.

Pidge: *has an angry, confused look on her face, pulling her sleeve up to see her wrists, eyes going wide*

Pidge: Oh, oohhhhh...

Romelle: I look at Keith as a brother, but ifnyou need help-

Pidge: *starts laughing*

That's, that's not from Keith hurting me

Pidge: More from him... restricting me

Pidge: *covers her face in embarrassment*

Matt: *goes from confused to horrified*

Romelle: *starts laughing*

Keith comes back in to see Pidge's face is as red as his jacket, Matt can't look him in the eye, Romelle nearly falling out of her chair

Keith: What did I miss?

Keith: No problem, need anything else from me before we head out?

Pidge: Your last name?

I am also a fan of the "galra mating season" trope, so the thought crossed my mind of combining the two (plus maybe a spicy love song or two serving as inspiration)

So Pidge notices that Keith is always ready to go for her, but almost never initiates. 9/10 times he waits for her to ask, and when they do go at it, she notices that Keith usually seems like he is holding back, being a little *too* careful, despite her insistence that she'd enjoy a little bit more roughness from him and for him to be more spontaneous with her

After a while, she notices that occasionally Keith will do exactly what she's asking of him, unprompted. She notices it's about 4 weeks out of the years he'll just let loose (eventually deducing it to be every 3 months, and she even sets her own personal timer/reminder for it)

During those weeks, she sees he does everything she wants. He that little be rougher, he's more spontaneous by either ambushing her as soon as she gets home from the lab or even paying a visit to her while she's still there, but her favorite part? He gets a little more possessive and jealous.

So when she's *really* wanting to let loose, she decides to tease and be a bit of a brat by doing some harmless flirtation in front of him. Maybe she keeps her arm on someone just a tad too long, or she laughs a little too loud at someone else's joke.

Everything she can to get that little bit extra she wants from him, she knows when she comes back to work tomorrow, it'll be with some barely hidden hickies and well-placed bitemarks. But it's worth it, she got exactly what she wanted and it should hold her over for a few weeks until *she's* ready to go again.

Pidge: What? Who's who? What are you-

Matt: Stuff it, I know when my baby sis has a crush, so spill or I will lose it. Is it Hunk?

Pidge: What? Quiznack, no he's like the brother I never had.

Matt: Hurtful, but okay, is it Lance?

Pidge: No-

Lance: Is what me?

Pidge: Nothing.

Matt: Yeah, it's nothing.

Lance: Okay, bee-tee-dubs, be on the lookout for Keith he may be in a bad mood.

Keith: *on the far end of the castle and quickly approaching* LANCE!

Pidge: 😳

Lance: Quiznack, gotta go!

Matt: Hate to be the one in the way of that war-path.

Matt: *sees Pidge's expression* Nooo... Keith?

Pidge: Is it weird that I kinda like it when he yells in my direction too...

Matt: Oh, definitely not, it happens to the best of us. Just be careful, Commanders in uniform are like catnip to us nerds.

Pidge: Oh yeah, who's your catn-

Matt: *shows his phone homescreen which is a pic of him and Shiro at the beach in swimtrunks*

Pidge: Fair enough.
