Kara x Lena (Supergirl)

We all know this one, so I won't go to much into it. All I'll say is I don't really know who to blame the most for this one. DC, who won't let the gay touch one of their main IPs, Kreisberg, who was just a ball of misogyny, or Queller, who thinks that the only good relationship is a toxic one.

Jane x Maura (Rizzoli & Isles)

This could have been epic, but blatant homophobia (despite playing up the queer angle in order to get the viewership) stopped this one from ever really getting anywhere.

Karma x Amy (Faking It)

One of the things that frustrates me so much about the lost potential of this ship is how really great this show was. It was consistently funny, the leads had good chemistry, a good story, good characters, and the writing was really tight. If Covington could have gotten over his obsession with either the character of Liam Booker or the actor Gregg Sulkin, whichever it was, this show could have been legendary. Covington had the equivalent of four seasons (season two was double-sized) to bring Karma and Amy together, so he doesn't get any slack from me for saying he intended to do it. You had your chance.

Emma x Audrey (Scream, the TV series)

In a game of who is the murderer you pick who you trust as though your life depends on it, because it does. Over and over again, even despite betrayals, Emma and Audrey picked each other. It wasn't easy. In fact, it often was very hard. But they had each other's backs. Which is why it was rage inducing how the showrunners would only go so far with this romance. Yes, I said romance. They went on a movie date at the end of the first season. They were in love.
