High-key probably one of my more controversial mcd opinion is that emmalyn should've stayed an aphmau hater. She is a life-long devout historian of lady irene and finding out that APHMAU is meant to be her? No. No that is not her irene. Shes a scholar so shes never one to overlook facts, so of course she is aware that aphmau and irene are technically one entity. However, what irene once was is long gone. What exists in her library making herself comfortable with no concern for emmalyns opinion on the matter may have at one point existed as lady irene but that time has long passed. Aphmau is just a pain in her ass thats a pale disappointing comparison to her flawless lady and emmalyn being a firm advocate for the "aphmau is not irene" party is actually really comforting to aphmau despite emmalyns argument boiling down to "irene was way better"
