We talked to them backstage with the little English we had. They were okay. And they seemed honest, which was the most important thing anyways. Are we influenced by Mayhem? Well, I think if you’re a musician in a Death Metal band and you’ve seen, for example, Dead’s show, you will be influenced. But we had our own ideas and created our own show. Yes, Euronymous is dead. But I can’t imagine Burzum-man stabbing. I see it like this, anyways: the delivery of death is delivery of reward, since death is, in some yet unknown form, relief.”
