Pride Reads 2026, Day 30: A Smile Like Yours

A lovely graphic novel about Rhys, a college freshman from Wales who has prosopagnosia, also known as face blindness. Rhys is worried about being away from home and living with strangers, especially when his disability makes recognizing people a real challenge. His flatmates are welcoming, especially Malcolm. As the story progresses, Rhys deals with anxiety, school stress, and his crush on Malcolm, who has a girlfriend. I really loved the art style! It's soft and expressive. The characters are relatable, with their struggles, mistakes, self-doubts, enthusiasm, and fresher energy -- it reminded me of my college days! I love that one of the main characters is ace 💜
