Tgb spoiler
Jameson and Avery are technically not related. Heavy emphasis on technically because only DNA is saving their ass
Like Jameson is dating his ex girlfriend's brother's situationship's daughter, who inherited his grandfather's entire fortune. Oh also his mom and her dad were sleeping together trying for a baby... A BABY. And the ex girlfriend's brother is his adoptive uncle who also signed Avery's birth certificate and calls her his daughter <3
Edit:- His older brother is married to her older sister
Now imagine them trying to explain this to their kids
The way Xander gets treated throughout the series is beyond infuriating.
Let me just say that I love Xander so much, he is my unproblematic king. But he continuously gets treated like garbage throughout the series.
Jameson and Grayson have a very strong case of Middle child syndrome, so they overcompensate but making everything about themselves. At first I could understand because the plot needs to keep moving, but now it's just irritating because I would like Xander to have more page time.
In TIG series it is implied that Xander had friends and a good social life until the Emily fiasco happened and people left him. Did anyone check in on him? No, despite the fact that he was 16 when it happened. Nash left home, Grayson isolated himself, Jameson became an Alcoholic, and what happened to Xander? He was left all alone, trying to mend Grayson and Jameson's relationship. THAT IS NOT XANDER'S JOB. It throughly pisses me off how Grayson and Jameson are so selfish that they won't even try to mend things for the sake of their younger brother. The falling out between them both deeply affected Xander, who really wants his brothers to be brothers again. The fact that Jameson and Grayson don't even acknowledge how badly they have been treating Xander is really disgusting.
Xander being dismissed in GR on the yacht was the final straw for me. Xander has more intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence than all of the Hawthornes and Avery combined. I seriously hope he outsmarts all of them in TGB and takes down Alice.
Xander is kind hearted, funny, and also was the first person to welcome Avery, Lyra, Savannah and Gigi. He deserves way more appreciation than the fandom gives him.
I'm gonna make a post about him and Isaiah later :)
