Monday Update

Ralph Fiennes and Viggo Mortensen have been seen in a restaurant in Budapest, while filming „Embers”!

Ralph Fiennes and Viggo Mortensen, famous for playing Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings, were photographed together at Budapest’s Rosenstein Restaurant. The restaurant shared the picture of the two actors with producer Robert Lantos and said the group visited several times while staying in Hungary. The meeting attracted attention because fans joked about the fantasy worlds colliding: Harry Potter’s villain and The Lord of the Rings’ hero sitting at the same table.

The actors are in Budapest for a new film project based on Sándor Márai’s novel Embers (A gyertyák csonkig égnek), directed by István Szabó and produced by Robert Lantos. The film focuses on two old friends who reunite after many years and confront their shared history. Rosenstein Restaurant has become a popular destination for international celebrities visiting Budapest, especially actors who come to Hungary for film productions.

But I'm left

with the smell of decay.

Rotting,

while the creatures of the night

tear into what remains.

Their lips

are closer to me

than yours may ever be,

but still,

I wish it were your teeth

tearing into me

her liquid runs across her skin, starving for more

she continues to slam those twisted stems into her arms

"oh god oh god oh god, " she repeats internally

wondering how long these newfound scars will take to blossom
