mia/lana - it's ok! it's fine. fandom has watered it down to palatable yet meaningless terms such as "doomed yuri." i've seen enough of mutely pining lana. let's have her be the pursuer for once.
ema/maya - love it!! a tasty treat. i love science x spirit opposites attract dynamic for them as a younger trilogy ship. together they would combine to annoy the hell out of phoenix at all times and that's beautiful. during the 7yr gap, i love the idea of ema sneaking out to kurain village and having angsty conversations about how their lives are going while maya is chilling under a waterfall--yes she can be naked. in SOJ era, they can be more lighthearted about it. please refer to my "smoking a blunt with a cunt" post where i envision their marriage. :P overall, TONS of material to work with and it is underutilized!!!
fran/ema - i answered this one already but i like the ship! it doesn't have the special sauce for me but i enjoy seeing art of it.
ema/phoenix (only comfortable with it around aa4 era or later) - i think we can acknowledge that ema was probably fucking the weed guy for weed. you don't have to like it but i think there's a good chance it happened. you know phoenix has zero boundaries so would see no issue with toking up with her and fooling around. why, did you write a fic about this or something? :P [EDIT: this was a friendamedes fic, i am mixing people up because my brains are addled]
