A gentle tune carried from an automated jukebox.  The old woman sat with the nanny in their living room, watching their daughter read into recently dusted tomes. It was up to them to teach Nihasa for the moment. Home schooling was what was needed for the utmost of safety.Â
âMinnâda, minnnnnâda look, minnâda look -- I made a little dress for Forgut!â Nihasa exclaimed proudly, but would frown when she got only a mumbled reply.
âThatâs nice, honey.â Diaage would yawn, not even opening her eyes to see what her daughter had made.Â
Elsif would tap on Diaageâs shoulder, âItâs lovely, Miss Nihasa. I think heâll enjoy it.âÂ
âMm..?â The ex-director yawned again, opening her eyes this time. âIâm sorry honey. Minnâda has been so tired lately. Itâs charming. Why donât you go put it on Forgut right now?âÂ
âOoohoooo.â Nihasa giggled as sheâd run off to put her little half-stitched dress on her imp.
  Â
âMaybe you should put in breaks between your training, Diaage.â Elsif garnered a soft sigh as heâd place his hand upon her shoulder. It was obvious Arasteâs regiment had put her on edge and worn out since the day she started. âYou being this undone could spell disaster in certain situations.â
âDonât worry one just needs a little nap. Things just hit hard...nnn.. still have some business to take care of.â She yawned once more only to slip onto the nannyâs form to use as a pillow.Â
âBusiness? What do you still have to do at this late hour?â The blonde haired nanny questioned.Â
âMm....nn...â Diaage sighed softly through her nose as sheâd put a hand to her left ear, pressing a button of the attached communicator. âChannel.. 285538... ....yes iâll hold.â
âMiss Malievi?â Elsif questioned again as he looked down to her. The old woman would let up her right index finger to him as if asking him to wait.
âHello? Yes this is M.D.â She spoke to her communicator. âJeâkali. Itâs been some time. Yes, I know. Five years. Dead? I thought so too. Hey. You and Rae still together?... ...Good. I need to shift about six units, if youâre still in the business. Oh. Excellent. No, thatâs alright. Still the same price? 30,000 sound alright? Good. Thanks, will be in touch. Send love to Rae for me.â
The communicator cut off as Diaage twisted her olivine-streaked iris up to Elsif. âJust needed to get that done. Donât have any live rounds anymore and just want to be on the safe side in any case of Karkarov, Valadil or.. well, Intoxication, I suppose.â She exhaled another sigh as her right hand would push up to touch the manâs neck.
âPlaying with fire, Miss Malievi.â Elsif frowned.
âOh..? No, no... They donât want me as their enemy, dove." The old woman laughed shortly through her nose. âIâll make sure of it...â
