heres a proper introduction to my newest oc, harper! he hates himself so so so much!!!! ill transcribe the writing below the cut and probably add more detail :p

Zalgoid hunter - zalgoids are creatures created by, born from, or infected by Zalgo
moved to a zalgo cult town and ended up burning it down - his dad moved him and his brother to this town he heard about after falling into a depression because harpers mother commited suicide to escape the dads abuse! this meant that when his dad ran into an infected (early stage) walking in town, he became infected too! the town was very remote and very stereotypical horror story demon worshippy,,, im not original enough i knowwww shush. At first, everything seemed normal enough, but harpers dad started waking him up in the middle of the night to worship and drink the blood of other townspeople and stuff but he always just let it fall down his shirt (the blood would be held in his hands) so he didnt become infected in the same way. Instead, he Saw Zalgo once and Seeing Him changed harper.
Burn scars can split open to reveal more eyes (ow!) Mouth also splits open and teeth are sharp. Uncontrollable! - this, as well as the extra eyes on his face, are triggered by fear or anger usually. if harper hasn't hunted in a while he will get 'hungry' and this also triggers the changes. Harper does not eat people, but he does hunger for violence and blood and stuff. typical Demon-Touched stuff you know? he gets around this by hunting zalgoids instead of people.

Also gathers information and stalks proxies or anyone associated with Slenderman - began by stalking infected zalgoids, led to research, learnt about slenderman, learnt he hates zalgo, started researching slenderman and his workers
feels like nobody else is really fighting zalgo so he's angry at slenderman - there are other cult towns and stuff that nobody is dealing with (from harpers perspective) which causes a lot of anger and frustration because why is nobody else trying to stop The End Of The World?????
people can be 'infected' and become Zalgoids - see big block of text above
He will try to cut out the infected parts and bury the human remains - the infection first manifests in the heart and heads to the brain. if an infected is killed early, the heart can be removed and burnt and the human body can be buried. this usually requires bleeding out the whole body though.
zalgoid parts burn quickly so thats the best way to dispose of them - yeah all the black goop and stuff is suuuper flammable so its easier to just burn it. once an infected or other zalgoid is dead, burning the body is the easiest option!
