somehow I'm brave enough to post this (might delete later tbh) BUT RISE FANDOM!!! I WROTE A SONG!!

I've been seeing a lot of kdh content and polytrix stuff and it just got me thinking about how there's probably this unspoken rule that hunters can't fall in love with each other. they might even be prohibited from dating in general, but ESPECIALLY with each other. because 1) loving anyone but the fans might be seen as a distraction from their cause, 2) being gay is still taboo in South Korea, even moreso within the kpop industry, and 3) idols dating in general is still pretty taboo. both points 2 and 3 would definitely divide fans and potentially weaken the Honmoon or put it at risk, so even if it was never explicitly said to them I think the girls would know that it's forbidden.

I gotta say as a woman who is attracted to men it is really fucking disheartening to be in the dating scene right now. Social media is flooded with stories of men being horrible, with hundreds of comments relating similar stories, and it feels like 95% of the men I talk to on dating apps are no better. And as someone who (unfortunately) really wants to find a romantic relationship, it feels like there's no point to looking and any "decent" man I might find is going to pull the rug out from me at some point.

Can I say that nothing brings me joy like a piece of media I love getting adapted into a movie and it's so good. So now I don't have to be like "hey this is my favorite book I know it's long but it's the best ever and you have to read it!" I can just tell them to watch the movie and know they're getting a faithful adaptation. Gah.
