With the little that they give us in the concept art, the individual Sunlight Sisters gave off specific personalities (at least for their idol personas) to me; Celine was the beautiful leader, Mi-Yeong was the demure cute one, and Third was the party girl.
The art reminded me of this specific Taiwanese group from the early 2000s my cousins introduced me to way back when, S.H.E!
I didn’t know how to read or speak any Mandarin back then (honestly still don’t today, just a few words 💀), so what I knew of the members of the group would come from what my cousins would tell me; Selina was often portrayed as the beautiful model type, Hebe would look and act very cutesy and sweet, and Ella was very tomboyish and energetic.
I only bring this up cause one of their songs popped up on my shuffle list, and my kpdh-obsessed brain made the connection 😂 I don’t know if anyone remembers or knows this group, but I had to get this thought out there cause it was brewing in my head all day 🤣
