With a magnesium alloy chassis, it weighs just 2.5 pounds (about 1.13 kg)! That’s nearly half a pound lighter than its aluminum alloy sibling (2.92 pounds), and it’s only 0.7 inches thick. Among 14-inch business laptops, this is truly impressive. 💨

After using it for a while, I realized that despite the weight reduction, the chassis rigidity hasn’t suffered at all: the keyboard deck shows zero flex, and the base remains rock-solid. While it doesn’t have the explosive power of a creative workstation, it still ranks in the upper-middle tier among U-series ultraportables.

Battery life is another standout feature—according to PCMag’s real-world testing, it can last an impressive 17 hours and 26 minutes under specific usage scenarios! You won’t have to scramble for a power outlet all day while attending meetings or drafting proposals. ⚡

A few minor gripes:

The screen still uses the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, and the screen-to-body ratio is only 85%, with slightly thick top and bottom bezels. At this price point, a 16:10 display would have been a nice touch. Additionally, the lack of a 4K display option means users who are extremely particular about image quality may want to think twice.
