well. vanille is sleeping now, and it's a well-deserved rest. she made my life a better one and was with me for 18 amazing years. i lost my lil ray of sunshine today but she'll keep on shining in my heart.

look at her lil face. caught mid-slap, dangerously offended by the feathered monster who dared boop her on the nose. she’s well and mighty, and it’s all thanks to you muffins, for having been so generous in helping me take care of her. i figured i’d give you a lil update, and show you the results of your kindness. her chronic health issues aren’t gone, but her urinary infection definitely is; thank you for helping me breathe easier, for giving me a chance to keep my focus on her general treatments. she’s an old lady and most likely won’t live another 5 years, but like i’ve said many times, she deserves to enjoy her remaining time as joyfully and painlessly as possible. despite her outraged demeanor, i assure you she’s beyond grateful--as am i ♥
