Accessorizing with pearls, whether that be with jewelry or handbags, is a staple fashion piece that is timeless. In ancient times, pearls were a determination of a person's class level. In the 19th century, pearls made their comeback in the Vogue fashion industry.
II. Timeless Pieces
Accessorizing pearls hasn't been a fashion trend that is swept underneath the rug because of the versatility and freedom a person has with it. Pearls can be dressed up for formal events, or dressed down for casual streetwear and an everyday look. Pearls can be worn alone as a necklace, ring, bracelet, etc., for a classic and simple look. In recent trends, pearls have been paired with other layering necklaces; gold and/or silver.
