Vertical Aerospace is taking a major step toward commercial electric aviation by launching a dedicated battery pilot production line for its Valo eVTOL aircraft—bringing critical battery manufacturing in-house to support certification and early production. The facility will build high-performance battery packs for its certification aircraft while laying the groundwork for scaled manufacturing ahead of targeted entry into service around 2028.
