Up on the mountain, in a world where only ash and rocks remain, there sits a little green form.

The creature looks out over it's barren wasteland, though it called it a kingdom.

Little cloth legs tapped again the large stone it had settled on, resting, though it had never tired in all its life, no matter how far or how long it had walked with no rest.

The creature is happy.

The creature is lonely.

The creature raised it's small cloth hand, pulling gently on the light green frill around it's neck.

Settling the hand back on the rock, the creature continued to rest, and while it rested, it thought.

And it thought.

And it thought.

And it remembered.

It took a bit, because it's hard to remember things you never truly forgot.

It remembered, and it missed.

It missed the little red creature, who was never the smartest, but always ready, ready to fight or to play or to never stay still long enough to truly wait for anything.

It missed the scaled beast, missed the humour and the empathy of the beast, missed the company.

It missed the one who hailed from the cold, who was as mischievous as they were kind, missed the games and the fun.

It missed the spirit, in their kindness and excitement.

They missed their friends.

The puppet creature was brought out of their memories by the sound of the ground shifting, they felt a heat behind their usually cold eyes.

The creature stepped up and off the stone, continuing it's constant journey to find anything at all in it's kingdom of emptiness.
