Lumine catching Ei staring at anemo and geo marks on her limbs: Don't even think about it 😠

The Shogun: 🙂 I don't know what you're talking about.

Lumine leaned her forehead on Ei's shoulder, her hands still resting on her lover's waist.

"I have learned the art of polearm in one world my brother and I visited so long ago," she said, feeling Ei's attentive gaze on her. "but so much time has passed since then, my skills aren't good enough for certain. I wish to learn an Inazuman style," Lumine murmured, leaving a wet trail of kisses up her beloved's neck, drinking in her small sighs. "Will you teach me?," she asked, punctuating her question with a bite to Ei's jawline.

"It would be an honour for me to teach you, share something so important to me with you, my star," Ei replied so gently Lumine wanted to cry. Her heart was so full of love for the god in her hands, how dare it grow even more with each passing minute.

Lumine never meant to fall in love, never meant to give her heart away so easily. Leaving a world has never been a problem but she had to go and anchor herself. "Aether won't be happy with our relationship," Lumine thought and the irony of her brother, who loved everyone and everything so much and so deeply, being against her relationship made her want to cry.

"Do you want to talk about what troubles you, my dear? I wish to help you like you helped me so many times," Ei said, caressing Lumine's face gently. The soft gesture made her heart crack at the seams, all the love, so overwhelming, spilling out of her. She whispered "I love you" into Ei's skin, lavishing her hands with kisses as reverent as a proper prayer. And to every confession Ei whispered her own.

Lumine pulled away for a second to look at her lover. Sprawled across the purple silken sheets, hickeys blossoming all across her skin, Ei looked as powerful and magnificent as the day they first met. The biggest difference, however, was in her eyes. Instead of disdain and annoyance, they were full of love and adoration. At least that's what Lumine wanted to believe in. It was, in fact, very nice to believe you are loved. Even when deep inside you know it was never meant to last.

"While I don't hate the way you tried to distract me," Ei chuckled, "I really meant it when I said I wish to support you. You mean a lot to me, my star, so let me aid you in any way I can." Ei reached out to caress Lumine's face again and this time she leaned in and let herself enjoy the soft touch.

"I believe you," Lumine whispered into Ei's hand. She let their fingers intertwine, taking all the comfort offered. "I love you," Lumine confessed, louder than any time before. "Did you know that?"

"As of now, I do know that," Ei replied, mirth twinkling in her eyes. "I love you, too, more than you believe. Did you know that?"

Lumine stopped counting how many times Ei made her heart flutter in such a short time. She just smiled, hoping to convey all the love she had, all the love she was so scared of acknowledging out loud.

The magnificent and imposing figure of Electro Archon loomed over her. Chained and unable to move, Lumine tracked each movement that slowly erased the distance between them.
