Art - Villa E1027, Eileen Gray. (Unauthorised mural by Le Corbusier) It is said that Le Corbusier painted these murals (whilst naked) as a means of defacing a villa designed by the masterful, but lesser-known, Eileen Gray. The sexually explicit artworks were reportedly his retaliation against the fact that the female architect had dared to design this building in “his” International Style, and they have led some people to erroneously believe the structure is his own work.
