They’re a pretty wonderful Mishima and one of my first long-lasting friends on here.  I was happy to see them make a little return to their Mishima blog and even though I know things have been busy for them, I’ll always wish them nothing but the best! Hopefully they’ll be on here more so you can all see what a fantastic Mishima and also what a fantastic mun they are.

I’ve always loved Wyz - I love their passion for their muses, I love listening to them talk about their muses, I love talking ships with them.  I’m really happy to see them back on the dash - hopefully we’ll be able to talk and ship and geek out together some more.  If you’re not following them, you’re missing out I think.

this—was harder than he’d thought. granted, he never thought he’d have to—well, he never thought about shay leaving before, about her not being right here. yosuke never thought he’d be reduced to talking to her through a tv and not being able to stand next to her—or anything. he didn’t want her to not be around anymore, or to consider herself as less than her “real self” or—or not be… right next to him.

it’s really a selfish thought. yosuke thought he was getting better about handling people’s feelings. and his own—mainly his own.

and he knows. he knows too much of it is his fault. he wasn’t there, he didn’t always help; he shied away from blazing yellow eyes, and sharp words, and cold metal no matter how carefully she considered things when holding him, or how hopeful and soft she looked and acted.

he’s a goddamn fool.

but there’s a glimmer of something distinctly not-hostile in her bright eyes, and it gives his pause—it gives him a teensy bit of hope. she doesn’t have to trust that he’s here for her–he just has to be here. as long as she’ll let him do that, he’s happy. 

and he hopes one day he can make her happy too. 

so he sighs quickly through his nose, relaxes his shoulders, and gives her a soft smile that slowly grows into a grin. he can’t help it.
