(flashback february 2025)
hollis has invited you to come to tokyo with him, this made you very nervous since this would be the first time heโs introduced you to all of his friends.
since you and hollis have been friends heโs only bought you around one person which was nate. and itโs only been him and hollis since youโve met.
once hollis started growing in fame his connections/friends grew as well.
at first you thought they were just in it for the fame & money, but they stuck by hollis regardless of that.
you really appreciated how well his friends treat him, since hollis was always kinda by himself in highschool.
you had to tell him how to be more social and to not be scared of what the future holds.
hollis told you to meet him at his house around 4am to catch the flight with the group, but you decided to just go over tonight and catch a few zโs.
you prepared yourself all day by getting your hair & nails done since you werenโt really a makeup girl.
you dragged your heavy bag outside to your uber before getting in the car letting the driver put your bag in the trunk texting hollis that u were on the way.
the car arrives at his condo, taking your bag from the driver and then walking inside to the elevator that takes you up to his apartment.
once you get to his floor you walk out of the elevator and to his door knocking out it
itโs a long pause of quietness before you hear footsteps by the door along side of locks clicking
you were too busy on your phone to notice it wasnโt even hollis that opened the door, you just knew that it opened
you walked inside dragging your bag along with you leaving it at the door for hollis to carry in the morning
โyou canโt speak?โ an unfamiliar voice says to you closing the door
โi donโt speak unless im spoken to.โ you say with a tone looking up at the figure standing by the door
โmm, im ryanโ he says walking into the low lit living room with a cigarette in his hand
he was cute; shaggy hair, a bit short, and these black boots looked very worn out.
โyouโre short thoughโ you say sitting on the couch crossing your legs
ryan stays quiet for a bit before rolling his eyes โwhatever, hollis isnโt here yetโ
you scrunch your face at his change of attitude, but honestly you didnโt give a fuck.
you then stand up walking into hollisโs room to get ready for bed before realizing your bag was still at the door
โcan you bring my bag here please?โ

โwhateverโ he walks out onto the balcony closing the door shut
you groan walking out of the room to drag your bag to hollis so you could get ready for bed
hollis came back two hours later and helped you repack your bag since you overpacked
you were just a girl though so itโs okay.
after that you went to the living room to take a quick nap on the couch before seeing ryan sitting in the spot you made up
โyouโre so fucking annoying can you move?โ you say with a slight tone
โgirl i literally was sitting here before you got here, miss me with that.โ he says arguing back with you slightly raising his voice
you two begin raising your voice at each other making hollis come out of his room staring at you with with a tired expression on his face
โshut the fuck up, youโve been arguing since i got home like we donโt have a flight in 4 fucking hoursโ hollis says to the both of you massaging his temples
โeither tighten the fuck up ryan or sleep on the kitchen floorโ he adds walking back into his room slamming the door
you two look at each other before bursting out into laughter
โacting like someoneโs fucking dadโ ryan says standing up and going to lay on the floor
โcan i at least have a pillow?โ he asks you looking at your face
the moonlight lightens his face just right making you stare at him for a while
โy/n?โ he snaps you out of your train of thought
โoh my sorry yeah here.. goodnightโ you throw him a pillow and lay on the couch turning your back to him
the day was filled with a bunch of traveling
you finally met the whole group which made you happy
they accepted you immediately (of course)
but you and ryan have a rather weird connection right now
itโs like one minute u two are arguing, then you two are flirting with each other.
hollis asked you earlier if you liked him, you immediately shut it down getting defensive
i mean he was cute but like? thatโs pushing it
the group decided to record their trip in japan so nate brought his sister chessa along to record for them
she was a very good with cameras
you all decided to go grab some food before hollis had to soundcheck
โwait this lighting is so good, chess can you take a picture of me?โ you say to her batting your eyelashes
she smiles at you โof course prettyโ
she then grabs her other phone snapping a few pictures before airdropping them to you

once inside the tour bus u sit in the back where chessa was sitting setting up her camera to record hollisย
โthat wasnโt a freestyleโฆ that was shedim. but yall ainโt ogs thoughโ hollis says talking to the group while scrolling on his phoneย
โwhoโs shedim?โ chessa asks lowkey holding in a big ass laughย
i look at chessa covering my mouth full of laughter to not ruin the silenceย
roman begins rambling about how big of a fan he was (โim a ogโ) before cracking other jokes throughout the bus rideย
the ride was full of deep conversations and questions about the universeย
you could clearly tell the drinks kicked in since we all we were laughing at each otherย
the bus finally arrives at the hotel after what felt like an hour, even though the bar was down the street from where you all were staying
everyone parts there ways in the elevator as they reach the hotel floorย
you, ryan , & hollis had a conjoined room meaning the room had another one attachedย
hollis let you have the bigger room since you couldnโt stop whining about the closet space in the other roomย
you sigh as you drop on your bed before scrolling on instagram laughing at some instagram postsย
your phone buzzes showing ryanโs contact making you suck your teeth in irritation opening themย
you slide on some comfortable clothes including your slippers, putting on ryanโs black jacket before walking outside seeing ryan look over the city smoking a cigarette
he lookedโฆ. so fucking good
maybe it was the liquor talking ew
ryan looks over at you smirking โhey, you look sexy in my jacketโ he says earning a slight push from you
โfuck off ryan, what do you want?โ you take the cigarette from his slim fingers inhaling the smoke yourself
โi want you y/n, why do you have to be in such a bad mood with meโ he watches you tilting his head leaning against the railing
โitโs just how i am, i get taken for granted if im too niceโ
โokay but we just met. thatโs a horrible first impression you knowโ he laughs softly looking you up and down
you put on the cigarette watching the burn go away before lifting your head up meeting with ryanโs eyes
โyouโre very prettyโฆ you know that right?โ he walks over to you tilting your chin up with his pointer finger
โso are youโ you let him before looking at his lips
itโs silence for a bit.
just the sounds of the wind and cars honking in the distance
ryan takes this opportunity to kiss your lips softly holding you close
you kiss back melting immediately
your arms around his neck
his arms around your waist
everything went quiet when your lips met his
ryan pulls back looking at you smiling, his eyes low, lips glossy thanks to you.
