Mixed berry smoothie on this mixed weather day - first freezing rain, then snow, then nothing?

Tomorrow is the last day of the year. 2016 has been a great year for us, for the most part. 2017 is going to be a big year with our wedding and a big designation exam for me. Wishing you all the best for the new year. As some people like to indulge, I figured this nice cabbage detox soup would be suitable. It's just red and green cabbage, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, Roma tomatoes and their juices (from a tin), vegetable stock, sea salt, black pepper (lots), dried parsley, oregano, extra virgin olive oil. So delicious. Happy New Year guys!

Welcome, 2017. First smoothie of the year (and first food of the year). Orange juice, spinach, coconut milk and frozen pineapple.

Smoothies and soup on repeat. Just some more of that that delicious detox cabbage soup.

House is clean, and my holiday "no baking" is done. No bake vegan brownies. Made with walnuts, rolled oats, cocoa, coconut oil, enjoy life chocolate chips, sea salt and dates. Topped with a mint chocolate ganache (enjoy life chocolate chips, coconut milk and pure mint extract) and sprinkled with organic vegan candy canes (didn't know there was such a thing, but super minimal ingredients). Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

Pasta just makes me unreasonably happy as a person. Like, really happy.
