#effects bakery

i don't really understand how fuzz pedals are supposed to work, but i absolutely love the tone and sound it generates. i'll be damned if this pedal isn't quietly mighty and spicy- it's on my shortlist of pedals i would like to get someday.

ボードは、隙間が殆ど無かったので、一回りサイズアップ。パワーサプライはhx stompの電源の事もあってコンセント付きの"圧強め"な物に交換。ODは…Duke of toneが宇宙と交信してるかのような、もしくはテルミンのような発信音が出るようになってしまい、修理に出す為にベーグル君を代打で登用。値段は安いけど、音は安っぽくなくてクセのない素直なODで、これはコレで良い感じ。ht-dualのグリーンchで作ってた弱めのディストーションはVE-CD（金色のヤツ）で。これは、マーシャルのスタック系の音を狙ってるらしいけど、スタックアンプ感を出そうとしてローを強調し過ぎな気はするけど、EQで下を削ってしまえば悪くない感じ。欲を言えば、もう少しハイミッドあたりから上にガツンとした感じが欲しいかな。でも、ギターのvoを下げた時の追従もバッチリで、腰砕けにならずに色っぽい音がする。VE-CE（黒いヤツ）は…レクチファイア風なのかな？ht-dualの赤チャンネルで作ってたハイゲインディストの代わりに。写真くらいのゲイン設定（写真だと1時くらいになってます）だとガッツリ歪んでるけど、ギターのvo下げるとかなりクリーンに近いトコまで落とせるのは中々良いです。EQのローを削って、タイトノブを上げて、ゲイン下げると80年代のメタルっぽい、今風の音と比べると軽い感じの音もそれなりに良い感じで出せます。ケーブルも作り直して、ボード内の配線の取り直しもしたし、はよスタジオで大きい音で弾いてみたいな、と。他にも3つほど歪みもの買っちゃったし、選定していく中で、前から持ってる物でも“こう使うとこうなるのか〜”みたいな可能性が見えた物もあったので、もう一つボード作ろうかな〜。

of the other pedals reviewed here, the sandwich fuzz is also a great pedal that i would love to own if i was a regular guitar player. they're all great pedals, and especially good for the price (avg $50).

another demo of the effects bakery cream pan booster, this time with an EWI (electronic wind instrument). this pedal is quite mighty and useful!

it's surprisingly refined (my opinion) and seems like a worthy pedal to consider in a base kit as it feels like it would chain well with other pedals.

this one seems to favor high-pass distortion, but it's still pretty good.

what's interesting is that effects bakery has multiple fuzz offerings; this one feels very rock-oriented and goes off on the amplitude side.
