ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP DATANGKAN DANDY SEBAGAI KEPALA PELATIH BARU
Semenjak ditinggalkan oleh Heart yang memutuskan untuk menyeberang ke tim rival EDward Gaming, posisi Kepala Pelatih di Royal Never Give Up mengalami kekosongan. Banyak yang bertanya-tanya siapakah yang akan menjabat sebagai Kepala Pelatih baru.
Mantan pelatih EDward Gaming NoFe sempat diisukan akan bergabung dengan Royal Never Give Up usai hengkang dari EDward Gaming, namun isu tersebut resmi terbantahkan usai NoFe memutuskan untuk pulang ke Korea Selatan dan menjadi kepala pelatih Afreeca Freecs. Setelah NoFe, belum ada nama yang dirumorkan mengisi posisi tersebut.
Pada akhirnya pertanyaan tersebut terjawab setelah Royal Never Give Up resmi mengumumkan kehadiran DanDy sebagai Kepala Pelatih baru Royal Never Give Up.
DanDy akan mengambil alih jabatan Kepala Pelatih yang ditinggalkan oleh Heart. DanDy nanti akan bekerja bersama dengan Kezman dan GreenTea dalam melatih pemain, mengurus strategi, dan mendampingi pemain selama Pick/Ban Phase.
Ini akan menjadi pengalaman pertama bagi DanDy sebagai seorang pelatih. Sebelumnya, DanDy menghabiskan kariernya sebagai pemain dan sempat bermain di tim-tim besar seperti MVP Ozone, Samsung White, dan Vici Gaming.
Pencapaiannya memang kurang mentereng, namun ia pernah mengangkat Summonerâs Cup saat menjuarai Worlds 2014 bersama Samsung White. Ia juga terkenal dengan permainan âPentakickâ menggunakan Lee Sin.
