Early Unwanted Pregnancy
It is alarming how a lot of teenagers nowadays in the Philippines get involved in sexual activities. Aside from the risk of the acquisition of reproductive diseases, they can also face the obligation of parenthood at a young and inappropriate age. Since the parents are expected to be in schools during late teenage years, they will face economic burdens in providing their child's essential needs, like milk, infant garments, and medical attention. Indeed, the poor child has to withstand his or her insufficiencies in life as a result of the parents' folly in family planning. Would you like this to happen to your child someday?
 Government officials must take immediate actions to prevent the inflating rate of early unwanted pregnancy. The first step they must do is to educate the youth about the risks of having sex at an early age, since the major root of the crisis is ignorance. They must also influence the Catholic Church to publicize the immorality of premarital sex, instead of announcing God's words that conceals the aforementioned predicament like the widespread quotation "Go ye and multiply." After all, these people strive efforts just to aid us. It is still up to us whether we care for and value our future, or not.
