Creating an inventory of costumes or props requires planning, time, and energy. At the 2015 National Conference, Margaret Messick talked with attendees about how having an inventory system for your theatre program can make your job easier in the costume shop or the props department!

Part four is the concluding section of the Assessing with Standards podcast. It offers a fifteen-step approach to building a Model Cornerstone Assessment based on one’s own curriculum and student needs.

Machine is often used as a warm-up or ice breaker, but it is also a great tool for creating student devised work. Using both Viewpoints and Machine, we can create an original piece of theatre. Repetition, shape, gesture, levels, and tempo can develop characters, scenes, and a better understanding of how a story unfolds.
