I need to heal my relationship with my body in order to move somewhere in recovery. I want to be someone who has no problem with posting pictures of myself. Sadly, I am not 😱 but I'll get there, I swear 😄 This is how my body looks. It's not controlled picture - I couldn't choose the perfect position, lightning or take multiple pictures. It's just pure me. When I saw this picture for the first time (I cropped my little nephew out, sorry, I respect his privacy 😁) I really liked it. For a brief moment, I was happy with this photo - and then I looked closely. Let's be honest - the only thing I like about myself there? Boobs 😂😂 (and they still look a bit saggy 😖). I can see my little tummy pouch, the way I am slouching, my arm fat, my red face. I don't like almost any part of myself. And this picture is for all of you who feel the same, because it's not always easy to fall in love with every part of yourself. It takes time, dedication and training. And it can take years. So meanwhile? You know what? When I first saw that photo, for a small moment, I just saw Foxy. A young woman smiling at her nephew, happy woman enjoying life. I promise you, no one watches the way your stomach hangs or the way your thighs spreads. People don't look at parts of your body and see you. They don't see you as that stomach roll. Or red face. They see you as you. As complex person with character, attitude, smile. You are not a meat piece to them. And if you are? Fuck them. You shouldn't care about someone who sees you only as a piece of meat! 💕💕 #edrecovery #bopo #bopowarrior #bingeeatingdisorder #eatingdisorderrecovery #edwarrior #bodyposi #bodypositive #bodypositivity #anorexiarecovery #bedrecovery #bingeeatingdisorderrecovery #bingeeating #edfighter #edsoldier #edfam #edfamily #realrecovery #bodyimage #bopowarrior #bodyacceptance
