My “coffee in Korea” journey started at a franchise cafe, Holly’s Coffee, & thus it must end with a franchise cafe too haha.

Ediya Coffee is one of the few franchise cafes that you’ll see everywhereeeee. This particular branch was the one just outside of the Myeongdong shopping district. After I did some packing, I had most of my morning & lunch time free before I leave for Incheon Int’l Airport, & bcos my hotel was located near Myeongdong/Namdaemun, I just hung out in my area.

I thought it had a longer history but it’s been around for 10 yrs? Hmm. ..

Very, very clean, & comfy.

Their counter. Tbh, considering the cafe was of decent size, I found their counter very crowded, with a lot of stuff happening. I know they’re trying to advertise all their in-season drinks & special features but. .. *shrugs* maybe it’s just me. I would have loved to just see the wooden decor.

My view.

My nitro cold brew :O comes in like a beer glass~ The photo doesn’t show it’s true size, unfortunately; however, it was legit.. . a lot! haha I didn’t expect it to be this size. But that’s ok; more coffee for me to enjoy, right? Apparently cold brews have this “foamy” texture, like a beer (hence the presentation like this), but I didn’t really feel that sensation. It was felt very light & tbh, quite flat for me. I don’t think cold brews are my thing. I’ve tried a handful in Edmonton, my home town here, & I had this at Ediya, it’s.. . I don’t know, it doesn’t suit my personal preference.
