Speaking of anime trivia [x][x], it's hilarious that Editor K confirmed during the Weston arc airing that Seb, as a demon, doesn't fear humans "because they're like grasshoppers and no one fears grasshoppers right ? *demon laugh* except for this one person :

And I really love how you can basically reinterpret every interaction they have, based on this. For example, during the Campania arc:
Ciel : Sebastian, go and get Lizzie's family somewhere safe Seb : uhhh, I'd rather stay and protect you two, we have this contract as you know and... Ciel : we're in the middle of a zombie outbreak, you can fear my aunt when it's over
Anyway, can't wait for the general reveal that Frances is actually UT's daughter and Seb's cheap ass will probably find a way to justify that it makes way more sense for him to be afraid of her ("Shinigamis can in fact be a bit overwhelming very rarely"), until Ciel will order him to shut up.
Tragically, Atsuko Tanaka, the seiyuu who played Frances Midford, has died.
Both Yana and Editor K paid their respects to the departed actress, expressing their astonishment at the fact that she was battling the illness that would ultimately take her life while recording for the Public School Arc. They also gave high praise to Tanaka’s portrayal of Frances, with Yana noting that her “strong, gentle, and dignified voice was exactly what I imagined Frances to be like,” and Editor K lauding her as “the world’s strongest female voice.”

If Sebastian does end up getting Ciel's soul then I hope he at least feels bad for the rest of eternity for it. I know Editor K (I think it was him?) wrote that thing where Sebastian shows up at the ruins of the manor on Ciel's birthday with a cake and muses that he's lonely now, and even though it's been years I don't think he and Yana would just completely scrap the idea? It still seems Sebastian-y for him to get lonely after all that, even if it's his own fault for eating his company.
