hey does anyone know about a preferably free audio editing software that would be good for beginners
i kind of really really want to try and record this fiction podcast and i do not know where to start with this lmao
WHERE DID THE CAPCUT SLOW ZOOM EFFECT GO!?!?!?!?!?!!!!
does anyone know a good editing software on pc?
I used to use alight motion on my phone though i want to use my pc. I make gacha videos and I want to make art videos. I have tools are stuff like Krita and Blender but have no clue how to use them.
I really want to make a animation video on my pc. =/
ok so i finally caved and learned how to properly use an editing software for my youtube channel
capcut was in my personal opinion as someone who doesn't do tutorials, i didn't hate it
yeah sure i spent an hour editing a two minuet video at first but that was because like i said i hate HATE listening to written tutorials
the second time i made a video using it i combined it with obs studio (which i use to film 40% of my videos, not the rusher ones tho usually)
but i like the images and pngs they provide for you to use instantly (you can still upload your own pngs and images too)
this is a lot eassier and once you get the hang of it its easy to understand
anyways this is just me glazing capcut

10+ Cost-Free Alternatives to Premium Editing Software for ESL Students
Writing in a second language is hard enough — paying for expensive software shouldn’t make it harder. Whether you're working on an essay or just practicing your English, here are the best free tools to help you polish your writing.
✍️ Comprehensive Writing Assistants
1. Grammarly (Free Version)
The gold standard for a reason. While the premium version exists, the free tool is excellent for catching basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors across almost any website or app.
2. ProWritingAid (Free Version)
Perfect for those who want a deeper look at their style. The free web editor provides high-quality reports on "stickiness" (overused words) and sentence structure, helping you sound more natural.
3. Hemingway Editor
If your writing feels too complicated, Hemingway is your best friend. It highlights "hard-to-read" sentences and suggests where to simplify your language—crucial for clear academic or professional writing.
đź“– Vocabulary & Phrasing Tools
4. Ludwig.guru
Think of Ludwig as a search engine for sentences. You can search for a phrase to see how it’s been used in reputable sources like The New York Times or The Guardian, ensuring your word choices are used in the correct context.
5. WordReference
More than just a dictionary, WordReference features active forums where native speakers explain the nuances of specific idioms and phrases. It’s an essential tool for understanding how English is actually spoken.
6. QuillBot (Paraphrasing Tool)
Stuck on a sentence that just doesn't sound right? QuillBot’s free tier allows you to rewrite sentences to improve clarity or change the tone without losing the original meaning.
🧠AI Writing & Humanizing
7. Edubrain AI Humanizer
When using AI to help draft your ideas, you want to ensure the final result still sounds like you. Edubrain is a powerful free AI humanizer that refines AI-generated text to make it sound more natural, relatable, and human, which is perfect for ESL students aiming for a smooth, conversational flow.
⚙️ Advanced Logic & Structure
8. Slick Write
This is a powerful, lightning-fast tool that analyzes your writing for flow, structural flaws, and excessive adverb use. It’s great for students who want to move beyond basic spellcheck.
9. LanguageTool
This is an open-source alternative that supports over 20 languages. It’s particularly helpful for ESL students because it can often detect errors influenced by your native language’s "false friends."
🎧 Listening & Final Polishing
10. NaturalReader
Sometimes you can’t "see" an error, but you can "hear" it. Paste your text into this text-to-speech tool; hearing your essay read aloud by a natural voice is one of the best ways to catch awkward phrasing.
11. ChatGPT (for Prompted Feedback)
Use AI as a tutor, not a ghostwriter. Ask it specific questions like, "Can you explain why this sentence is grammatically incorrect?" or "Give me three synonyms for this word in an academic context."
anyone have any recommendations for good editing software for PC? I have Windows 10, and it would be to edit music and make music videos
I use an old version (12) of Pinnacle editing software to do all of my audio/video editing. It does everything I need it to do exactly the way I want to do it, so obviously, I don't care about upgrading. I found a feature I hadn't used before where I could adjust the audio-only output in a specific way, but then it stopped me saying I needed an activation key to do that.
Fuck.
So I searched online, couldn't find anything about it, some people talking a bit about it, but no key. I then tried to contact Pinnacle, told the chatbot to eat shit, and after having to do that twice in two weeks, my second ticket got a response telling me they didn't have it because it was old, and tried to sell me the new version after I specifically said I did not want to upgrade. I literally lead with that. I know they have the fucking key, I'm just supposed to believe the entire company purged anything to do with older versions? Like not giving me is going to inspire me to buy a whole new kit of software--that's going to do it?
Suck my dick two times.
