with and without the psd ^

i need somebody to make me a either a lil hal or nepeta (preferably trans male nepeta but i don’t mind either way) (both from homestuck) tumblr themepack for an edit blog <\3

preferably with a pinned post, accepted, denied, talking and self indulgent replycons, 2 main dividers, a pfp and a banner PLEASE I NEED THIS I WOULD MAKE IT MYSELF BUT I DONT HAVE MOTIVATION AT ALL

I BEG OF SOMEONE, IDK WHERE TO ASK BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS CLOSED

I struggle alot on positioning the pngs in a way that looks cohesive! (if u can't answer, it's fine!)

hi ,hi ! as maker of the banner i usually do the very much cluttered style but as for the current one im keeping up my main focus are collages !

My thought process is a theme i want to work around,which for this blog was a scrap book or more of note pad ! just make sure to gather pngs that suite this style. To get a better effect i didn't outline the characters simply,but rather tried to get the effect of a paper coutout by using the selection tool! .

For a different kind of banner i take my main inspiration of of ,real life stuff,concert tickets,shelfs , digital objects etc. or just go for a simple pinterest style moodboard !

I also like to mix it with other styles such as the beloved 2023 editblr or try to go for those amino web graphics !

Hi dear !! I'm not too sure what software you tend to use,but due to mainly using photopea i suggest that before exporting your graphics ( especially gifs).

Photopea will ask ahead if you want to reduce the quality by up to 50% ,to prevent this from happening you just have to click on cancel and the gif will export in its original size ! please keep in mind that this process might crash if you edit on mobile or just take really long to export.

So for my question,, do you know if there is any tutorials for recoloring gifs or if you can make one? No pressure! It’s like different color tints it’s sort of like where people recolor renders with psd colorings and i want to know how to do that with gifs ^_^’ (i appreciate you!!)

Hi dear !! Using psds via photopea / photoshop is rather easy! , ill place a proper tutorial underneath the cut!

you simply open up your gif and your psd , then duplicate the psd into the gif ,please make sure to select the whole psd folder! once you duplicated it to the gif layer you should make sure the psd is at the top of all layers so it stays consistent. after that it is free to export

Kin: character you relate and/or see yourself as them, like “[bob] is so relatable and [bob] is just like me”. This is different from IRL’s since you are aware you are not actually them

Id: character you identify as. Pretty sure the term enters on delusional attachments/IRL’s, as in you don’t just relate to them, but believe you are them and have memories of them, like “i am [bob] irl and i believe we are the same person”

F/o: fictional other, a character you yume/riako or in more simple terms, you selfship yourself with or are attached in a romantic or platonic way, like “i am [bob’s] partner”, “i am married to [bob]” or “[bob] is my best friend/family”

(If that’s not obvious [bob] is a placeholder for any character you can think)

I don’t personally have delusions so i kinda suck at explaining the id perspective TwT the terms can get more complex so let’s just go straight to the point:

When people say “no kin, id, me or f/o tags” means they don’t want other people who “share” (either kin or yume this exact same character) interacting with that post, or their blog in general.

This can be for reasons such as attachment, personal comfort or disliking others saying “oh me too!” There’s no problem with that as long as it’s done respectfully and doesn’t justify competition or harassment between others!

This isn't a question I get asked regularly, however, I thought why not talk about this anyway. Sometimes, I want to use a psd on an image and I get this :

The problem is that on the skirt the coloring is sort of blotchy and the image is... grainy overall. So, how can you help this? I use photopea for this, of course.

Click ' Filter ' and Then ' Noise '. From then on, click ' Reduce Noise '.

The first is without any sort of adjustment and the second is with the strength set to 8. It DOES erase details, depends on the strength you use, but it looks much less grainy!

Optionally, you can do ' Filter ', ' Sharpen ' and then the ' Sharpen ' option for a sort of a clearer vibe, which I did, as I enjoy the look. My end results ended up being this ;;
