I love them both so much. Edgeshot looks so adorable here, and I simply cannot get over how he's holding onto his onigiri. I get he probably can't hold it in any other way, but he's clutching it so close to his tiny body like he's scared someone's gonna take it from him. Like they just don't see him and assume it just fell on the ground and they try to throw it away. 😭 It's okay Edge, just stab them with your hair if they try.

We don't know whether shinya is ninja or not but let's imagine he is. Does he have specific traditions or unique habits related to this ninja thing? How does tsunagu react to shinya's ninja habits?

I actually don't know much about the habits of an actual ninja, and I'm more inclined to believe he isn't one and just has a deep interest in them, potentially kick-started by a Hero he admired when he was young. (Honestly, to me, he's always seemed like Horikoshi's homage to Naruto). But a user named 'denimorigami' might be able to answer this question better?

That being said, I do imagine Shinya as being incredibly secretive to the point no one even knows he's married or even in a relationship. Not even other Pros. Tsunagu and Shinya only call each other by their hero names or their last names in public, first names in private. No one knows where he lives, and he almost never does interviews unless he's strong armed into doing so. He doesn't willingly show his face, but his mask has come off in battle a few times over the years. Hawks has made it his mission to steal Shinya's mask. Tsunagu understands his desire for secrecy as he has his own desire to go out and do things with Shinya without hindrance, but is ocasionally annoyed by the unnecessary extreme measures Shinya will take.

Do they use their quirks in daily life? For example, to mend clothes.

Yes, both of them do. Shinya actually uses his quirk a bit more; he'll stretch out his arm to reach high shelves or something far away, and he'll also flatten entirely to bypass doors and windows. (Tsunagu keeps one of their windows slightly ajar for this purpose.) Shinya's done this since he was a teenager, and his parents can only recall him actually opening his door a few times in his teen years. The habit has led to him routinely forgetting his keys, and because of this, he has hot-wired his own car before.

Tsunagu uses his quirk a lot less in his civilian life since he prefers to practice his fiber arts by hand, he will use it if he needs something done immediately, like if his clothes get snagged on something and damaged, he'll repair them right away, and he uses his quirk to keep his scarfs up and over his face when they refuse to stay.

How do they spend their free time? What their hobbies are?

Shinya's mostly a homebody and enjoys gardening, reading, playing guitar, doing his origami, and playing his games. He also practices parkour and does charity/volunteer work.

Tsunagu enjoys being outdoors, and theres on equal chance of him striking up a conversation with the person closest to him, or being silent and keeping to himself. (He has taken Shinya on camping trips with him, and they occasionally go hiking to shrines, but he generally goes fishing by himself). He tries to call his older sister once every few months and also (when time permits him) he goes ice skating with his brother, models clothes for his younger sister, and drives out to Okayama to visit his mother (and take her to doctor's appointments). Every so often, they'll do a family dinner (to which Shinya is absolutely invited) and at one point they'll have an hour long discussion on fabrics (that Shinya can recite by memory). And of course, he does his fiber arts.

The pair of them often parallel play alot, Tsunagu will usually work on some fiber art project while Shinya plays one of his games or watches a movie/show he likes (he really likes action movies). He'll ocasionally sketch or write poetry. When Tsunagu is working on a project in his craft room, Shinya will sometimes hug him from behind and watch him work from over his shoulder.

The pair also have a near monthly dinner with their old mentor, who will hunt them down if they refuse.

Who is the big/little spoon?

Mainly Tsunagu, but they do switch from time to time, like when Tsunagu is upset.

Who is responsible for cooking? Who likes/hates cooking?

They actually both cook. It's hard to nail down which of them cooks more as they switch cooking duties frequently.

Shinya generally cooks healthy meals from traditional japanese cuisine that he learned how to cook from his mother who was a bit of a health nut and always making healthy nutritious meals for her family. Helping his mother in the kitchen as a kid is some of his fondest memories.

Tsunagu cooks traditional dishes aswell but he likes to experiment, some times he just modifies recipes or tries new ones, and occasionally he'll try to create dishes from other cuisines. His mother never taught him to cook, the kitchen was her domain and hers alone, and she didn't want distractions while she was busy, so Tsunagu was forced to teach himself after he moved out.

Does tsunagu like to braid shinya's hair? Does shinya like his hair being played with?

Yes!! Shinya loves his hair being played with, his mother used to pet through his hair when he was sick as a kid, so he associates the gesture with comfort and care. (And it just plain feels pleasant). He especially loves when Tsunagu washes his hair for him.

Upon studying Edgeshot’s design in more detail while drawing him full body, I have many MANY questions…

How does he get his hair like that? Is it gel? Hairspray? What does his hair look like down? Is fighting in sandals at ALL effective? Is his hair naturally grey? What is that gold thing on his shoulder? Why is it so insanely hard to draw? Is he wearing a mesh body suit beneath all the clothes? What does he do in the summer?— wouldn’t he sweat? That isn’t very ninja like, Kamihara. How many flipping layers is he actually wearing? Can I take them off? Does he whimper or groan? (Real Edgeshot fans know he whimpers) Is he and Jeanist looking for a third? Can I join? Can I watch?🤤🤤

Many questions— but on a genuine note, I seriously find his design very visually interesting, Horikoshi may not have done a lot of things right in Mha but damn, hats off to him for coming up with a design as striking as his. There were so many things I hadn’t seen before that I suddenly realised upon looking at it closer. I also appreciate whatever little dainty skirt thing Edgeshot has going on, like yes queen, so adorable🫶
